Special polymer is basically aqueous emulsion based polymer that has non film forming property. It contains hollow and water filled beads of styrene or acrylic which is provided in emulsion form. Offered polymer acts as a strong opacifying factor for aqueous paints. Inclusion of special polymer in paint formulation can reduce the usage of titanium dioxide without affecting tint strength and hiding power of paints and coatings. Offered polymer is capable of resisting high as well as low temperature. It shows strong resistance feature against chemicals, flame and impact.
